Education for Peace – Building Futures

Our first documentary was created to record the inspiring results of the Education for Peace program developed by the team of Fora da Caixa Cultural Collective, in partnership with the Educational and Institute André Luiz. The documentary was directed and produced by Ricardo Albuquerque and Mirela Proença.

The aim was to show how the combination of an academic development program with an education project guided by human values, ethics, dialogue, and knowledge about personalities and movements linked to pacifism and the achievement of civil rights can bring about a profound change in the lives and social trajectories of young people. More than ever, we need virtuous examples so that the next generation of leaders can build a more just, equitable, inclusive, and peaceful society. This is not just a dream; it is a reality that we need to build together.
